Here are some things I've found interesting that I have learned so far about Australia:
- The world's 10 deadliest snakes are all Australian
- The Great Barrier Reef is home to 1/3 of the world's shark species
- Out of all the species of animals that live in Australia, 80% live only in Australia (it's a very isolated country)
- The country is very informal when it comes to addressing others, you are never supposed to refer to someone as Mr. or Mrs., even the Prime Minister everyone calls by his first name.
